"... Marco Torrance is one of the great DJ mixing chill tracks, and by selecting his production you already started with a homogeneous and tasteful material. Overall, transitions are exquisitively smooth, the tracks follow each other almost seamlessly (only by knowing them can you quess a few transitions the other are completely hidden) the voices are scattered, but always coming at the good moment for some new thrust. Overall, the mix teters on the edge of ambient, yet the voices and the guitar keep it on the chill rivage.

And now my personal opinion: Just by closing my eyes, I can feel myself in the middle of a friendly night, I can hear the melodies weaving their musical colors over powerful foundations, I can truly live in the music. It's not the noisy, futile night of night clubs, of parties, of busy streets. It's the night of friends gathered in a house, understanding each other without words, refreshing and healing, befriending the shadows and the stars by the sheer beauty of the music."

Marco Torrance (a.k.a. Marco Tust) is an ambient, chillout and trance musician based in Leipzig, Germany.

He was born on January 15, 1981 in Leipzig (German Democratic Republic).

Inspired by dancefloor era in the early 1990s, Marco began making his first electronic dance music by using simple sample tools and tracker related programs. Finally he found the way to the software synthesizers.

In the past 4 years, Marco had several trance releases on vinyl and compilations appearances at Germany's ZYX Music and Tunnel Records.

Also inspired by Solar Stone, Michael Woods and Enigma, he additionally started to produce some chillout.

So finally he got his first compiled EP-release on the famous Kahvi.org netlabel.

After one and a half year production time Marco presents his debut album "Reconstructed Moments" on the Dutch chillout label Cardamar Music.

This album includes 9 tracks about things and thoughts, which came along with Marco in the past 10 years.

Marco also got some assistance by 2 great musicians. The guitar was played by Volker Kaufmann who is one half of Germany's easy listening duo Shaped Signs. The voice and the lyrics on the final track Behind Closed Eyes were made by Michelle Richer, a vocalist, musician and philosopher from Washington D.C. Finally, it's emotional and epic chillout kissed by trancy sounds, a guitar partly and the wonderful voice of Michelle Richer.
